NBA at anchor at Las Animas on 200 ft of water 3.5 shots out of portside anchor. Partial cloudy sky 5/8. NW wind 6-10 kts and 2-3 ft seas, no white caps. Air temp 30C, Water temp 29-30C. There are no boats around.
We arrived this morning to Las Animas, wind was 15-18 kts from WNW and there were whitecaps, but the was running smoothly. Once at anchor, boat kept calm and smooth. Wind started to drop down through the morning as well as seas.
This morning, we did the dive safety briefing and then started to set up guest´s diving gear. Check dive is done, there was no any issue with any diver, so far they look good divers.
We have 3 snorkelers as well and they enjoyed snorkeling with sea lions. We dove at sea lion cove la Lobera where is shallow, there were many puppy sea lion very playfully as well as some big males swimming around. Also there were many different kind of eels and lot of reef fishes. Visibility was amazing around 30 mts. All divers enjoyed.
We’re currently in second dive. we will do a third dive and then we will pick up everything and start to make our way to San Idelfonso.
Yesterday at Pichilingue bay on turn day was smooth and nice. We received guests a little bit latenafter 1930 as the bus had to stop to wait for a luggage that shouldn’t be on the bus from the dive center. We received guests and did the welcome and captains briefing following of the lifejacket drill and ended the night with a delicious dinner. After that we departed from port.
