Location: En Route to Cabo Pulmo
Weather: Clear Sky, Light Wind and Calm Seas
Today we searched the Cerralvo Channel, near El Saltito. Our guests jumped into the water with two groups of mobula rays, possibly 400 individuals. There was another bigger group, possibly more than 1000 mobula rays but they left, after which the guests returned to the boat for breakfast and left again around 10:30am. Airplane called us because they found a school of Risso’s dolphins estimated at 200 but wide spread. However, guests got into the water and some of them did see the dolphins while swimming. As the day was ending, we went to La Reina for a dive and they saw thousands of jacks, turtles and reef fish. We will dive tomorrow in Cabo Pulmo and after that we will continue searching the area.
