After having removed my tank and BCD, divemaster Annie suggested I take a quick snorkel tour around the tunas. I was immediately swarmed by a dozen tuna that sped past: I cannot stop thinking about the sunrays changing the colors of the tunas around me. Magical.

The dive sites are incredible and the encounters with the marine life are absolutely stunning! One can never have enough of the elegant and graceful mantas as well as gazing at sleepy sharks huddled in packs along the rock walls.

On our ‘check dive’ we saw hammerheads, dolphins, and a manta and it only got better from there. Particular highlights were barrel rolling mantas, hammerheads on nearly every dive, amazing topography, enormous tuna, and such a healthy population of sharks. We will be back!

Roca Partida was spectacular with tons of fish and great visibility to the endless school of yellowfin tunas, giant tunas waiting at the right moment to get their prey at great speed making the school of bait dance in the ocean.
