Captain’s Noon Report – Under Sea – 2021-04-26

Location: Roca Partida

Overcast day at Roca Partida. Wind 8-10kts from the North small wind chop on the surface with a 3-4ft groundswell rolling through. Overall good diving conditions. Very moderate current, visibility 75-85 ft. water temperature around 74-76 degrees. Yesterday’s afternoon dive was fantastic with the majority of the group seeing a juvenile female whale shark, and large schools of Galapagos. Some guests saying it was the sharkiest dive they’ve ever had! The first dive today was very nice with schooling hammerheads, large Galapagos, and big schools of Jacks and Tuna. We will be staying here for the rest of the day, and after dinner making way for Cabo Pearce.
