Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2024-07-23

25.06.832N – 110.30.754W, dead calm, no wind flat seas, air temperature is 86F, water temperature averages 80F, visibility today averages 40Ft, little current running to the south, some clouds are clearing out since this morning, we had a very nice quiet and flat crossing to LAS ANIMAS.

It’s been a pretty busy day today since we anchored at 0600, briefings, setting up gear and dives, we have two dives in the pocket and two more to go, I just talked to the plane and they are looking for stuff for us.

The check dive was amazing they say, guests loved the seals and everything around them. Then the second dive was full of life they are amazed by the number of fish, they found these jacks in a large number and that was the highlight of the dive. Guests and crew doing great.
