Captainโ€™s Noon Reports โ€“ Under Sea โ€“ 2024-07-28

Sailing along the HOT SPOT just south of Mulege, this morning we spotted a fin whale then later we saw a sailfish leaping couple of time, then a big pod of dolphin none of them wanted to play they were cruising at a high speed.

We just stopped the UNDERSEA as a huge whale passed in front of the boat and within couple of minutes we had both inflatables in the water chasing after the whale, I think is a humpback whales.

There are also lots of mรณbulas leaping completely out of the water, once the boat stopped and while bringing the skiffs in the water a huge shark came in close and started to do loops right next to us on the port side, for a second I thought it was a tiger specially when one of the guests said about the square head but with the binocular I could clearly see its hammerhead.

Wind is doing 12kts SE, ripples in the ocean, air temperature is 86F ocean water feels cool to the touch 76F, clear skies

I am finishing my report saying they are closing in to the whale plus THE EYE IN THE SKY just arrived to us, so is just a matter of minutes for us to get a real close look at the whales.
