Captainโ€™s Noon Reports โ€“ Belle Amie โ€“ 2024-08-15

Hi all, Belle Amie is at San Pedro Martir today for our last day of diving. Wind is southerly 15kts plus but calmer in the anchorage at the north. 1ft seas, partly cloudy, air temp 37-38C.

Diving conditions excellent this morning for our first two dives. 20m viz, water temp 28C at surface and 25C at 90ft. Current mild to moderate.

Morning dives included a big seahorse that everyone got to see between the two dives, lots of playful sealions, and the beautiful reef and wall covered in black coral at El Arroyo. This afternoon we are diving on the north-west side of the island.

Yesterday we had a great day with the whale sharks and afternoon dive at Punta don Juan. Last night on the transit back it got a little choppy, a little more wind than was in the forecast. Tonight looks like it will be a bit choppy as well but coming down overnight.
