Captainโ€™s Noon Reports โ€“ Gallant Lady โ€“ 2024-08-19

Todayโ€™s weather started calm but it got windy during the morning, wind is about 12 – 14 Kt from SE, sky is clear and air temperature is 32ยฐC. We have done 2 dives in the morning; conditions are better than last time we were here. Water is clearer, we have a moderated current going East. Water temperature is 23ยฐC.

The first dive was in the North Pinnacle of the island, visibility was about 15m. But there was a layer of turbid water at 6 m. but the bottom water was clean. The guests saw a small school of hammerhead sharks passing by the dive site, there were many jacks, tons of reef fish, and a couple of turtles. There were some sea lions playing around the pinnacle too.

The second dive was in the East Rock, this dive was a little slow, there were many jacks around the pinnacle, a small school of bonito passing nearby, some nudibranchs and sea lions playing among the rocks. The divers liked the show that the sea gave for them. Visibility was about 25 m. Current going NE, water temperature 23ยฐC.
