Belle at La Reina today. Winds were nil to light variable, 1ft seas, humid and hot with air temp around 37C. Diving conditions were very good, water temp 27C, viz 15m, current mild to moderate.
The diving was excellent with loads of fish including a huge school of Jacks, schools of Cortez Barracudas, sardines and many other reef fish. Several playful sealions were around on all dives, and the seasonal resident mantas showed up on dive 2 for our divers. 2 different mantas made a couple passes for most of the divers and after dive 2 we took the guests out snorkelling with them and they said there were 4 different mantas.
We were sharing the site with the Gallant Lady and several pangas from La Paz. The eye in the sky made a few passes overhead and searched the Cerralvo area but the pandas not around for us today. Now we are heading to La Reinita (Carpenter Rock) for our final dive of the day. Tonight we will anchor at Bonanza beach and dive Salvatierra and Suwanee Reef tomorrow for our final day.
