Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2024-11-07

Anchored in 55ft of water, skies with some whites, light NW winds, huge SW swell I estimate it to be 6Ft, boat rolls every time the swell comes, it has a period of about 14 seconds. Air temperature is 79F, water today is 78F. They say visibility is more than 100FT, no current in the check dive then the current picked up on the second one running to the west. Check dive had mantas, a hammerhead shark, a lot of white tip sharks and lobsters. We did a leather bass alley for that warm up dive.

Second dive groups did not make it to the cleaning station as they found five mantas, chevron and black mantas shared the place taking turns to come up to the divers. Guests loving the ocean and marine life. The highlight of the day was the dolphins in the check dive. They came up and down playing with diver´s bubbles. Guests were really happy.
