Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2024-11-09

NEX at Cabo Pearce today for our last day of diving for this trip. Wind is around 10 kts northernly, 2-3ft swell in the anchorage, partly cloudy sky, air temp 27C, water temp 26-27C. NUS also here with us today.

Yesterday navy check-in went fine. Two dives done here at Pearce so far today.

First was ok, a little quiet by Pearce standards but a couple mantas around here and there and one group had a big hammerhead nearby. Second dive was much better with several mantas around and a pod of dolphins that came in to play with all the groups.

Current is mild today and viz is around 15-20m. Guests and crew all good.
