Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2024-12-27

Hi everyone, diving the Boiler in San Benedicto Island anchored in 104ft, wind is doing 10 to 17 kts N, air and water temperature are 76F, visibility average 80ft, swell 9ft NW.

During the first Dive the guests had an amazing animal encounter a lot of mantas, black mantas, 10 dolphins, school hammerheads, white tips, lobsters, after the dive number 2 the same like the one dive only without dolphins.

The guests request for stay more dives in the Boiler, since in the morning dive briefing, I told them that if the weather conditions did not improve, we would do 2 dives in the Canyon. So, I decided to stay and do the 4 dives in the Boiler and move to the Canyon, reposition the anchor there and spend dinner.

The windy conditions improve, swell between 6 to 8 ft NW, after dinner we will proceed to sail towards Cabo San Lucas.
