Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2024-12-30

Hi everyone, On our way to Isla San Benedicto, beautiful weather, amazing sailing, 7kts N winds, very long period 2 to 4Ft NW swell, Explorer rides smoothly. Air temperature is 75F, clear skies, bright sun.

Guests relaxing, crew on the other hand making progress in the job we need to get done before the checkout dive in Fondeadero.

We are making good speed, the guests were excited when we told them that a large family of dolphins were accompanying us around the boat, going up to the sundeck to watch them and take photos and videos, very happy with the excitement.

Yesterday, the departure from Cabo San Lucas to San Benedicto Island was scheduled at 11:00 p.m., but it was extended a few more hours, completing satisfactorily at 3:20 a.m. this morning, proceeding immediately with the departure without problems.

The captain’s briefing was given early this morning, as well as the presentation of the crew and guests. The simulation with guests at the meeting point was also carried out satisfactorily. Two diving talks by the dive guides are scheduled for this afternoon, fortunately so far there is a good vibe among the guests and a very good disposition,
