Good day, NBA here reporting from San Benedicto Island, “El Boiler” we decided to stay the night at Canyon anchored and move to Boiler very early in the morning, due to the weather conditions, and it’s going really good in all aspects.
The boat anchored at 120 ft with 3 shots in the water, and it feels stable, no boats around. It is a windy day for us, 12-15 kts NW but other than that the waves are not more than 4 ft, same direction.
Today we have done 2 dives, and it went crazy, there are a lot of life down there, the Boiler is full of silkys, over 50, the mantas are so playful, there are school of hammerheads around, some Galapagos are passing by, and white tips and silver tips around the huge rock too.
There are no current right now, which is great for our divers, vis is more than 50mts, water temperature is 23° Celsius and air temperature is 21° Celsius. After dinner we are moving to Roca Partida for our dive day tomorrow. Guests are about to get ready for the next dive.
