Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2025-03-28

NEX at anchor at Cabo Pearce on 110 ft of water, 2.5 shots out. Cool wind Northly 12-15 kts, seas are flat in the bay and 3-4 ft outside. Clear and sunny sky. Air temperature is chilly 20C.

We arrive yesterday afternoon to Cabo Pearce after navy check in. Navy inspection went smooth. We had a nice and quiet night at anchor at Cabo Pearce.

This morning, we have done 2 dives. Guests are happy, they saw a couple of mantas, reef fishes, and few sharks. Viz is very good 20+ mts and water temp warm 24C. Theres a mild current to North.

Dives were good this morning but not that good as usual, there were no dolphins this morning and no hammerheads. There was a school of tunas around the finger though.

We will do 2 more dives here and we will depart to the Canyon after dinner. Crew and guests doing fine.
