Refit 2016 continues at full speed!! Chief engineer Larry and myself are on exactly the same page that the best time to replace engines and machinery is on a calculated proactive basis rather than waiting until something breaks. Pictured here is a new main engine and also a new genset being installed by Cummins. How did we get the new engines into the boat? It’s simple on a steel boat. You just cut a hole in the side of them engine room and then weld it back up again!!
