Captain’s Noon Report – Under Sea – 2018-03-22

Roca Partida Blue Skies Winds N 5 Swell NNW 2-4 Water Temp 75f Current East Medium to Very Strong. First dive was nice. Medium current with hammer head school and Galapagos, White tips, silver tips and Galapagos. Big tuna coming through as well. Current manageable and guests were really happy. We just finished the second dive. Second dive, ripping current on the west side. Galapagos sharks and silver tips but couldn’t spend a lot of time on that side looking for hammerheads due to current. Nice school of jacks and the white tips were circling around the side of the rock in the current. Eels and lobster. Guests came back talking about current but they liked Arturo’s dive and Juan stayed safe just going with the current to shelter. Last dive will be at 1645 which is the time I like to dive at because of the time of day and fish activity.
