Captain’s Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2018-03-30

We arrived to San Benedicto this morning around 2am, dropped anchor in 80Ft of water. Day is overcast and guests are happy to get in the water, temperature is 76F and visibility is around 80FT. Current have picked up as the day goes, and fish kept coming, we had several silky sharks, just under the boat. Also few hammerheads and two mantas, some saw silver tip sharks and lots of white tip sharks and stingrays, but what made the morning so amazing is the 15 footer whale shark swimming around the boat. We were all done with dive number two and all of the sudden some guests came down running form the sun deck yelling whale shark! All guests are in the water and no one is paying attention to the 20 plus silkies around the boat. Whale shark is the star, and is been there for the last 20 minutes and keeps coming back.
