Last night the silky snorkel at Cabo Pearce was on fire. We had 10+ very curious silkys. This morning, we completed two dives at the boiler. There is a very strong current running to the north. We saw several mantas and hammerhead sharks. The group leader, Nick, asked us to move to another dive site because “They are tired of seeing mantas. Please go somewhere that has less mantas.” So we moved to the canyon at their request. We are now doing dive 3 here at the canyon. We plan to spend the rest of the day here, do wine and cheese at sunset, then leave early in the AM.
