Captains Noon Report – Explorer – 2018-04-19

Location: 19-17.8’N 110-48.4’W
Status: Vis. 30 – 50 Ft.
Weather: NW 10-15 Seas_ NW 1-2 / 25C

It’s a little choppy inside the bay. We started out this morning with a great first dive at the Canyon. Divers reported Dolphins, schools of hammerheads, silver tips, Galapagos, mantas, and a tiger shark! The vis was 50 ft, temp 25C. On the second dive, the tiger showed up again, this time a little more curious while the divers were doing a safety stop, according to the one diver that saw it. Other divers reported large school of hammerheads, school of mobula rays, but no mantas this dive. Vis was down to 30-40 ft, and temp still 25C. There is wind, and medium current pushing divers to the SE. Everyone enjoyed their dives.
