Captain’s Noon Report-Belle Amie – 2018-05-12

Weather:Viz is still good at 80′ or so, 75 degree water and current from the east

Anchored for our second day at Roca Partida in company with the Undersea. A cloudy morning has given way to partly cloudy skies. NE wind 5-10 knots, Seas NW 3-5′. Yesterday continued to be an excellent day of diving. At least one whale shark was on every dive and to top things off on the last dive yellowfin tuna began spawning all around a group of divers. After a smooth night at anchor, the dives today have been less exciting. However, the juvenile whaleshark made a brief appearance for one group. A few Manta sightings and a hammerhead or two have kept things interesting.
