Captains Noon Report – Explorer – 2018-05-18

Location: 20-18.2’N 110-33.5’W
Status: En route to Cabo San Lucas
Weather: Winds N 18-24 its Seas 3-5 ft Swell NW8-10

We are currently en route to Cabo San Lucas with 160 nm to go. We have an eta of 0800 at the dock. Guests are doing well with the large seas, trying to keep everyone as comfortable as possible. Yesterday we ended at the boiler. The afternoon dives were not nearly as good as the morning dives. We saw several mantas, but not near the action we had in the morning. Vis was down to 60ft, no current and temps 23C. Last night we had wine and cheese on the sun deck and watched the sun set, then we a wonderful steak dinner. After dinner we had a photo and video contest as well as the trivia. All great fun. Then the party started. Some of the guests had a dance party on the sun deck, eventually everyone was up there and having a great time. Some of the most fun we have ever had on the last night of the trip.
