Captain’s Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2018-08-27

Location: Anchored at Guadalupe Island
Weather: Sunny, clear skies after an early morning marine layer. Light and Variable winds and a 2′ short interval swell rolling in from the N.

Yesterday finished off as well as it started. Somewhere between 8 and 10 different sharks were sighted often four or five at a time. Today the water is a bit colder at around 68 degrees but the visibility is even better 100’+. The sharks seem to be a little deeper today so the submersible cages have had the most action, but there is still plenty to see even from the deck. Once again an excellent day to dive with the white sharks.
