Captains Noon Report – Explorer – 2018-08-29

Location: 29-08.6’N 118-17.1’W
Weather: Winds light and variable Swell NE 2ft, visibility is about 100 ft, temps around 20 C.
Status: We are at anchor just north of Monkey Face

Plenty of action around the boat. We had our first shark about 15 minutes after we started wrangling. There are about 7 sharks staying right around the boat. Two of them are tagged. Most guests are standing on the back deck yelling “shark” and having a great time. Guests that aren’t on the back deck enjoying the show are in the submersible or surface cages. Everyone is having a great time. What an amazing experience to see the beauty and power of these animals up close.
