Location: Anchored at Guadalupe Island south of Monkey Face in 250′ of water
Weather: Sunny clear skies, 10-12 knots of wind from the SE and N swell 2-4′
A bit rough on the surface today. The surface cages are moving a lot but for those who don’t mind the motion the action has been good to great. We have had steady shark encounters all morning, but in the last couple of hours the action has really heated up. We have had between 10 and 15 different sharks around the boat this morning including Ropey, Luca and Andy. The visibility has been variable but with a recent current shift it is back up to 90’+. Water is around 70 degrees and after yesterday’s ride everyone is happy to be in the lee of the island.
