Captains Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2018-09-01

Location: Anchored at Guadalupe Island
Weather: Sunny skies, calm winds and only a small bump rolling in from the NE

All in all a much calmer day today. Visibility is excellent, 100’+, water temp is right around 70 degrees and no current. Yesterday continued to provide non-stop shark action, but by the end of the day the motion in the cages had tired most folks out so after five no one went in the water. Instead it was happy hour with buckets of beer and Shark ID followed by an excellent taco fiesta on the top deck. The Joker, Brutus and Ropey were positively identified. Today we have even more sharks. There are sharks everywhere. At any given time there are 4 or 5 in sight with probably 10 or more different individuals nearby. With the calm surface conditions everyone is having awesome shark encounters.
