Captain’s Noon Report – Under Sea – 2018-11-19

Location: Lat 28 20.13N Long 115 11.50W
Weather: Clear suuny day. Water temp 68F, Air Temp 74F, Vis. 30-40 ft
Status: At Anchor in Cedros Island in 150 ft depth

At Anchor in Cedros Island East side. We are about to finish 2nd dive. First dive, divers came back to the boat happy, sea lions everywhere. There is a big colony of them laying at the beach and when the divers approached, sea lions came closer to divers and were swimming around playfully. Water is green here as well, vis is about 30 ft and water temp 68F. Divers are about to come back from their second and last Dive at Cedros, and as soon as everyone is onboard we are going to pick up skiffs and depart to Roca Alijos. Yesterday at San benito the afternoon got a colder, cold wind started blow from the W. By the second and third dive there, they could saw sea lions and harbors seals. Divers came back happy to the boat.
