Captains Noon Report – Explorer – 2018-12-04

Location: Cabo Pearce, Socorro Isla
Weather: overcast- brief rain squall presently. Wind calm in am to 5knot North. 1′ at anchor Diving : W/T and VIZ #1- W/T 25C vis good 80-90′

Excellent dive despite moderate current. Dolphin interaction and 2 manta on station. 1 manta circled the group at the safety stop then breached above them! #2- W/T 25C vis 80-90′ again. almost no current reported but only 1 hammerhead spotted by one group and otherwise quiet dive. We are loading and moving to other side of island departing asap to look for more action and please the guests. Yesterdays afternoon dives were great, and the snorkel went well with a dozen silkie sharks around vessel. Taco night was well received with nearly all the food cleaned out! The wind was up however, which didn’t deter appetites. All guests and crew happy.
