Captain’s Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2019-03-21

Location: At the Fondeadero, San Benedicto Island
Status: Anchored
Weather: N wind 10-15 / sunny skies / moderate swell from the WNW, but calm behind the island

Yesterday the Boiler continued to give us great Manta action and we topped an amazing day of diving off with a wine and cheese full moon party. A perfect sunset was followed by a most spectacular moon rise over San Benedicto Island. We spent the night by the boiler and by morning the wind and seas had picked up. The first dive the Dolphins showed up on schedule and the mantas joined the fun. Our second dive was at the Fondeadero: the visibilty was excellent 80’+ and there were lots of Mantas and even a glimpse of a tiger shark. We are sharing the area with the Cassiopeia and the Explorer.
