Captain’s Noon Report – Under Sea – 2019-04-15

Location: Lat 19 17. 74 N Long 110 48 39 W
Weather: Clear sky with patches of clouds 3/8 Water temp 71F Vis 80-90 ft
Status: At Anchor at Canyon. 33 meters deep.

Yesterday in our last two dives at Roca Partida we had Galapagos, silver tips, and Tunas. The weather was spectacular, without wind, without strong current and very passive waves. Everything was perfect, except for the fish, there was not a large number of animals, it is assumed due to the lack of currents on the site. My decision was to make our way back to the Canyon, hoping to have new experiences with the fish. Already anchored in the Canyon with an incredible sunrise and the solar rays falling slightly in the ocean, with a calm and beautiful peace, without wind, currents and waves, it seems to be inside a pool. Vis 80-90 ft, Water Temp 24 degrees. Observed chevrons mantas, silver tips, white tips, galapagos, and hammerheads . The first two dives were fantastic, it was not a bad idea to return to this place, our guests are very happy to have returned. The Canyon on this trip was fantastic, the best diving place on this trip.
