Captain’s Noon Report – Explorer – 2019-05-01

Location: Cabo Pearce (Socorro Island)

Weather: Winds 8/10 kt NW Seas: calm behind the wall protection

We arrived at 0030 to Cabo Pearce and dropped the anchor behind the wall. Best spot for our taco night. The first dive of the day had little currents from south to north that later in the second dive was less. On the early morning dive, they saw a group of dolphins who were really excited with the visit from our guests. The second dive was “amazing” in words of our divers, they saw big school of 15 to 20 hammerheads, 2 galapagos, and some white tips… the visibility was great between 80/90 ft. and the temperature of the water 24/25 degrees.
