Captain’s Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2019-05-13

Location: Las Cuevitas, San Benedicto

Weather: N winds 10-15, N wind, swell 3-5′ with sunny skies.

We finished the day yesterday at the Canyon with two good dives with a few mantas and lots of sharks. We dove the Boiler for the first two dives this morning. Topside conditions were rough, but everyone handled it well. The visibility was 100’+ with no current. The first dive had one Manta and everyone enjoyed the topography and some hammerheads. The second dive was amazing with Dolphins the whole dive for every group. The smiles were huge. Surface conditions were deteriorating and the forecast is for stronger wind this afternoon, so we moved to Las Cuevitas. No south swell showing here and the visibility looks excellent.
