What a beautiful day today. We finally have sunshine. On the point this morning we have 10-15 knots of North wind and with the current going against the wind there is a steep 5′ wind chop on the dive site. Under the water however, it is most excellent with 80-100′ visibility, 73 degree water and fairly strong current. On the first dive we had dolphins for everyone and even a few Hammerheads. On the second dive more dolphin encounters and even a Manta. We finished the dive day yesterday at Old Man of the Rocks. Everyone was impressed with the beautiful reef and large corals, but a juvenile Whale Shark stole the show. Two groups spent much of their dive with the Whale Shark and a third group was able to skiff over after their dive and spend 10 minutes snorkeling with it.
