Location:Lat. 19 17.83N Long 110 48.45W
Weather:Water temp 23C Vis 60-70 ft Mild current to E at the SW point
Status: At Anchor at The Canyon 65 ft depth

Yesterday afternoon dives mellowed down as visibility decreased and current increased. Just 7 divers did the last dive. Today we’re the only boat at San Benedicto. First dive we dove at the canyon, great visibility and no current. One of the groups saw one hammerhead at the receiver passing close getting in at the sandy area, a lot of silvertips and some galapagos sharks there as well. For all divers almost at the end of the dives, 4 different mantas passed close to them. Second dive we dove at the SW point. Best dive so far! Everyone returned to the boat happy and singing. 3 different mantas the whole dive and a pod around 15 dolphins chasing the mantas all around, divers didn’t know where to look. Looking forward for next dive at the same place and we are going to stay the night here to dive the boiler tomorrow.
