Captain’s Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2019-08-05

Location: Anchored at Guadalupe Island in front of the Monkey’s face in 250′ of water .18nm from shore.

Today the day started of cold and dreary with very little shark action. Only one or two sharks were sighted and they were not interested in the bait. Visibility was about 50′ on the surface and water 67-68 degrees. Now things have started to improve with 4 sharks around and visibility of around 80′, sunny skies and light current to the north. Our ride yesterday was comfortable all the way to the island.
