Captain’s Noon Report – Explorer – 2019-08-15

Location: 29°08.54’N 118°17.52’W “monkey face” Guadalupe Island
Weather: Light wind and variable seas: swell 1ft SE. Sunny skies W/T: 19° Visibility: 12-15 meters
Status: 0.178NM to the wall Depth: 242 ft. all chain out (4.5 shots)

Visibility was increased and we have more interaction with these beautiful animals. Shark ID was exciting with the major part of the guests trying to identify the animals and after that we had steak night. Delicious meat prepared for Felipe, best chef ever! We woke up today with not the best visibility but after a few hours the situation changed. We had the marvelous visit of a baby shark (max 6/7 ft)! He makes happy jumps and swims after the tuna and the guests are enjoying it a lot. This evening we start our heading north with smooth weather forecast and with the eyes on the next adventure.
