Captain’s Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2019-09-01

Location: Anchored at Guadalupe Island
Weather: winds SE 4-8 seas calm, swell NE 1-2

Spectacular day of sharking! We have had 5 sharks around the boat at almost all times. Very often you can spin in the cage and see 5 sharks all around you. they are everywhere. Sadface has been very active at the surface. We have another large female hanging out with us as well. We think we have Ropey here. She is a bit harder to identify without the large rope, but we are happy that it is no longer constricting her. Current has picked up, it is fairly strong. Temps are 21C and 100+ viz as we can see the anchor chain very clearly. Guests are doing great.
