Captain’s Noon Report – Nautilus Explorer – 2019-09-27

Location: 29° 08.5’N / 180° 17’ W
Weather: 20°/21° Sunny Sky. Visibility: 15/18 meters
Status: Guadalupe Island / Monkey Face

Wind: lightly SE seas: NW 1/2 ft swell and medium currents to NW. We are in our first dive day in Guadalupe and guests are enjoying the beautiful morning with good shark interaction in surface and immersible cages. At least 5 different animals are around us and we can identify Andy, Slash fin, a big female, and few junior males trying to take the bait again and again for the happiness of our divers. Water temperature is pretty warm (around 20/21°) but the current makes the visibility not the best but anyway, we have a good beginning. This night we have taco night on the sundeck and all guests are excitedly expecting that.
