Captain’s Noon Reports – Nautilus Belle Amie – 2019-09-30

Location: 29.08.64N – 118.17 64W
Status: Guadalupe island anchored in 250Ft

Dive is slow today, morning had nice waters visibility is 100 plus feet this morning i could see the anchor chain from the starboard cage. In the water there is loads of life, lots of the little scads in their juvenile stage and the yellow fin tunas and yellow tail jacks were chasing after them. A shark here and another one there and lots of time in between with no sharks at all. Ocean today is 70F and air is just about the same but the winds makes feel a lot colder this morning. A guest had a deep conversation with me about safety, and a lot more, he questioned me about the Belle Amie and at the end he said he feels safe here.
