Captain’s Noon Report – Nautilus Explorer – 2019-11-15

Location: 26° 08.13’ N / 113° 52.43’ W
Weather: open sky with some cloud
Status: Heading SE to Magdalena Bay area

Yesterday we made two dives in the NE part of Cedros island, the first dive wasn’t good, the Sea Lions removed all the bottom and the visibility got really bad… but the second dive was totally the opposite! The visibility was much better. Some of the divers could see a big bait ball and some Sea Lions and Cormorants were eating giving our guests a really amazing show. Also spotted were a Guitar Fish, some Garibaldi Fish and some Stingrays. Now we are sailing to Magdalena Bay area to try to find the bait balls and the marlins, we will be there tomorrow morning.
