Captain’s Noon Report – Explorer – 2020-01-07

Location: 18° 59.4’ N / 112° 04.7’ “Roca Partida”

Weather: Wind: NE 10-14 kts, Seas: NE 6-8 ft. Overcast sky

Yesterday Cabo Pearce was more quiet in the afternoon, the two dolphins came back and our guests could see them. All good with the check in and the silkie snorkel was in Punta Tosca. Today we arrive to Roca around 0615. Visibility around 30 mts, temperature 24-25 degrees and medium current from the NW, the first dive was good, our divers could see good shark action, galapagos, silver tips and five hammerheads. One black manta also in the first dive some big tunas, wahoos and two mobulas. The second dive, our divers could see one hammerhead, galapagos, silvertips and big school of jacks, no mantas on the second dive. All guests and crew doing great!
