Captain’s Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2020-01-24

Location: 18.59.33N – 112.05.08W – Roca Partida

Weather: Blue skies with lots of white, light NW breeze, very little waves huge swells this morning

Status: Today visibility is 100Ft water temperature is 77F no current lost of surge. Anchor sitting in 250ft

The dive have been good, really good a manta or two, loads of sharks (galapagos, silkies, white tips reef sharks, silver tips) and in the second dive most of our guest saw a school of hammerheads some claim the school had over 100 shark in it. but all of this is nothing compare to the excitement of seeing the humpback whales mother and calf have been around the whole morning and sometimes they came so close…..yep close, hear this!! if the Belle had gotten another coat of paint the whales would have scratch it the second time they leap completely out of the water 🙂
