Captain’s Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2020-02-19

Location: Roca Partida
Weather: Winds 8-12 NNE, Swell N 3-5ft, Visibility 100ft, Water Temp 75F
Status: Roca Partida

We finished up diving yesterday at Punta Tosca where a school of hammerheads was seen by one of the groups. Today the diving has been excellent. There were six mantas on the first dive, some were shy but you could see all six of them around us at the same time. Most of the groups saw a school of hammerheads and there were massive schools of yellowfin tuna. The white tips were always around too. The second dive was nice as well with four mantas and a school of hammerheads for some. There were silvertips out in the blue and schools of tuna coming by. One large tuna kept to the rock, swimming close by, and wahoo were spotted out in the distance. The guests are pretty happy about being here and the weather is prime.
