Captain’s Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2020-02-22

Location: Cabo Pearce

Weather: Winds Varible Swell Calm Vis 60-80ft Water Temp – 75f

Another beautiful day. Guests are really being treated this past charter to amazing animal encounters with schools of hammerheads, mantas and dolphins with a supporting cast of tuna, wahoos and small critters. The diving is so spectacular that we stayed at Cabo Pearce for a second day. We had the current die now yesterday and hammer heads came across the ridge with close close passes. Mantas came in big numbers with six being seen on the dive. Today we have had dolphins, mantas and large schools of hammer heads that all the guests came up really raving about. The second dive was a little slower but a few mantas and hammer heads have been spotted. The current has been strong to the SE this morning and yesterday morning as well. It died down yesterday afternoon and we will see what if does today. Guests were happy that we were staying for the last day here.
