Captain’s Noon Report – Explorer – 2020-02-24

Location: San Benedicto Island
Weather: Mostly cloudy skies, 15-20 knot N wind, 2-3′ West wind swell, Moderate current to the west, Visibility 90′, Water temperature 74 F
Status: The Canyon

We have done both of our dives today on the eastern portion of the Canyon and the conditions have been great with excellent animal sightings. The first dive we had dolphins and a large tiger shark come for a visit. The second dive we had hammerheads, silvertips and large galapagos sharks. No mantas yet, but this is just day one.
