Captain’s Noon Report – Explorer – 2020-09-16

Location: Los Islotes, Cabo Pulmo

Weather: Nice and sunny. No wind at all and flat sea

Status: Visibility was 20 m or more, water temp around 27-28 degrees C

The two dives in the afternoon was just amazing. We had playful sea lions that came up close and swimming around us. The divers was eager to get in to the water again so it was just a short surface interval between the two dives. Then we started our vouyage south all the way to Cabo Pulmo where we arrived at 6 am in the morning. The guest embarked Pangas for the National Marine Park in groups of 4 in each Pangas and extra tank for dive number 2. They saw a couple of sharks and big school of Jacks. Visibility very good and water temp around 27-28 degrees. Our Plan is to stay here and do dive number 3+4 in Cabo Pulmo and then start the 68 nm voyage up to La Reyna during the night.
