Captain’s Noon Report – Explorer – 2020-09-18

Location: Las Animas, La Reyna

Weather: Light breeze with calm seas and blue skies!

Status: Visibility 98 ft, water temps 86 degrees F

Diving at Las Animas today, weather is very beautiful with a light breeze and calm seas, sunny skies. Finished up yesterday at La Reyna with 2 dives in the afternoon, lots of cool stuff to see. We arrived late last night at Las Animas. So far we have done 2 dives here. Unfortunately, no hammerhead sharks during these two dives but we hope to see them on the last two dives. The divers enjoyed the playful sea lions and all the other animals that you’ll see here. Visibility is very good, at least 30+m and the water temperature is 30 degrees C. The plan is to stick around here at Las Animas and do 2 more dives plus an evening/night dive before slowly cruising down to San Francisco for the final dives for this trip.
