Captain’s Noon Report – Explorer – 2020-09-19

Location: Las Animas, Isla La Partida

Status: 98 ft visibility, water temps 86 degrees F

Yesterday we finished up at Las Animas with 2 more dives at the sea lion colony in the bay. Visibility was very good with +30 m and water temperature at 30 degrees Celsius. After these two dives we stayed a little bit longer at anchor so the guest could do a night dive as well. Totally different feeling to do night dives with the Sea lions. The guests were very exited and happy with the day! We sailed for San Francisco as soon as the night dive was completed and the guests woke up to a beautiful sunrise. We did all 3 dives at Isla La Partida and played with the sea lions, and saw a lot of Barracudas. Some guests also saw a couple of octopus! Great end to the trip.
