Captain’s Noon Report – Explorer – 2020-09-26

Location: La Lobera de Isla Partido

Weather: SSW 12 kn wind and approx 0.5-1.0 meters waves

Today we have a SSW 12 kn wind and approx 0.5-1.0 meters waves and we are diving at La Lobera de Isla Partido. We have done 2 dives so far and are planning to do a third before setting course to Cabo Pulmo. Yesterday afternoon was absolutely amazing. For the third dive at Las Animas we explored the cavern on the north side of the island. We found three different caverns and managed to see them all. The forth dive was an evening dive with a beautiful sunset making the dive extra memorable for the guests. We also offered a hike on the island for those guests who wanted to do something different. So DM and 10 guests walked/hiked up to the top of Las Animas and watch the sun go down over Baja California and Sea of Cortez. Absolutely stunning!! We also packed a cooler for the guests with some cool and tasteful drinks as they watched the sunset. One guest even said it was the best and most beautiful he had ever done or seen! The dives today started out very good. We had some playful Sea lions, turtles, nudie branch, barracudas and plenty more. Visibility around 25 meters and temperature 29 degrees Celsius. All the guests are having a fabulous time and the crew are doing great!
