Captain’s Noon Report – Explorer – 2020-10-06

Location: Thetis Bank

Weather: Very sunny, light breeze with long two ft. waves

Status: 24.55.800N – 112.36.391W

Our last dive yesterday had some amazing sights – a big school of over 20 mobulas swimming overhead, more than a dozen stingray buried in the sand, and a crevice with a bunch of lobster. Today is beautiful with lots of sun and a nice little breeze. Long two footer waves with visibility at 50 Ft and water temperature was average 80F. On this morning’s dive we some saw bat rays and black seabass, and we are now on the lookout for the striped marlin.
